This file makes no difference, it still loads the gtxdash. How do I get hold of V2 of the GTXDash or any more ideas on being able to load alt dashs?

Hi, I had my box modded by xroads nz and they seem to have fallen off the face of the earth, there goes my lifetime guarantee :(
Anyway, how do I change the default dash in a Xroads modified box? I tried setting up a xbmc shortcut but the box don't seem to like starting from anything except gametronix and to be blunt it's oooooold now.

i hear that the 360 will have a portable hardrive and with have cordless controllers. it will have great graphics in all games and be able play live and see the person who are playing with. but you have to buy it.it is going to be one hell of a consol!

Equipment Hire is available if you wish to utilize it.
51cm TV $5 XBOX w / Halo 2 $5
All networking gear / cables / power cables etc are provided.
We only have around 16 TV's for hire so book early if you don't want to BYO telly.
Teams will score points for the position they come in each round. Your performance in each round determines your position on the ladder. As you win you will be moved in to progessively harder games. As you lose you will be dropped down the ladder into progressively easier games.
There will be an initial seeding round to determine the starting positions.
We will post the game types and settings next week so any input now will be considered.
If you want to reserve a spot let us know via phone email fax or forum.

I was on the net and found out the price and supposed date release date. it will be $299 US and will available to buy from wall mart on the 4th 10th or 17th of November this year. is anyone going to go and order it from overseas. PS3 May Get 2X or Faster Blu-ray Drive Double-speed drives to be available at the format's launch, months prior to the PS3. by Chris Roper
August 2, 2005 - Blu-ray, along with the competing HD-DVD format, is set to hit retail markets at the end of this year. Blu-ray's ace in the hole is no doubt the PlayStation 3 though, launching sometime during Spring 2006, roughly four to six months after the format first emerges.
As was the case with CD and DVD drives, the first, minimum speed of players and disc drives will be 1X. The Blu-ray spec puts this at 36Mbps. It usually takes a few months or so before 2X drives hit, then a little more time for 4X and so forth. Because of this usual timeline, it was generally assumed that the PlayStation 3 would be using a 1X drive, with an outside chance at 2X.
Today we received a nifty bit of info from Josh Peterson, Director of Strategic Alliances, Optical Storage Solutions, Hewlett-Packard Company. That's a long and somewhat confusing title, but trust us that he knows his stuff about Blu-ray. He had this to say about the Blu-ray format in general:
The read speed of Blu-ray is something that drive manufacturer's specify, and it will vary from vendor to vendor. The only thing specified by the BD spec is what the "1X" speed is, which is 36Mbps in the case of Blu-ray Disc. We know that some of the first generation BD drives will be "2X" for Blu-ray Disc Data Reading which is 72Mbps.
As 2X drives will be available at the launch of the format, roughly November or so, this bodes well for the PlayStation 3 hitting at least that speed, cutting its assumed load times in half. With 2X drives being available so early, this also gives hope that the PS3 could employ a 4X Blu-ray drive, drastically cutting load times even more.
Of course, to keep costs down (which Sony doesn't seem to care about, at least from an outside perspective) it could ship with a 1X drive. Sony still has yet to announce an official read speed for its drive, but we'll keep you posted as soon as more info is available.

Just over a month ago Microsoft head Bill Gates was once again stirring things up by claiming that XBox 360 would not feature any new DVD technology and would simply go with a current DVD drive. The reaction to his comments and possibly the positive attention gained by Sony's Blu-ray/PS3 combination, have caused Microsoft to rethink its strategy.
Speaking at a joint MS and Toshiba (creators of HD-DVD) event Bill Gates commented: The initial shipments of Xbox 360 will be based on today's DVD format. We are looking at whether future versions of Xbox 360 will incorporate an additional capability of an HD DVD player or something else.
As things stand Microsoft is not bound to gain much by the addition of an HD-DVD drive since x360 games will still be stored on normal DVDs. As drives become cheaper however and as more movies on the new format begin to surface, Microsoft's console will need to support the format if it is to claim its place as the media and entertainment hub of the living room.
Blu-Ray which boasts a higher capacity than HD-DVDs but is more expensive to produce, is a Sony format which will compete against Toshiba's HD-DVD. The inability of these great Japanese companies to work some kind of compatibility deal may mean that the DVD market will be split down the middle.
Microsoft, it seems, plans to release new versions of its XBox 360 console as new hardware features are introduced. It is unclear if this could cause gamers to wait before purchasing an XBox 360 this November although it seems unlikely that it will be possible to avoid the media blitz Microsoft are bound to unleash. so i see that the couch is fixed what did you do to fix it? and did you find out who wrecked it if so did you charge them? oh yeah and is there any more info on HC05? and what about a proper challenge sometime in the near future like three four weeks? what i mean by that is we get our team together and you get the gametronix team together. game types CTF TEAM SLAYER and the maps we would probably play on coagulation turf and gemini and then we would probably have an all on all slayer :) ps i would need a box.

as seen in the news post the party this weekend is FREE if you BYO equipment (tv box and controller).
We can supply all networking gear and power cabling.
We are open to team / tournament / social games.
We have 51cm TV's for hire @ $8 for the session. We have xbox's w ctrl and halo2 for hire for $5 for the session (we would recommend bringing your own controller).
Please book to avoid dissapointment or just turn up if you don't care if all seats are taken ;)

Ok there is a site called XLANSA i think they do lan (system link) tourny and they have posted some crap about gametronix that has been blocked by site admin but i saw it and it wasnt that nice so i posted some crap on how shit the site is and now i am on warning level 1. ok heres the plan we clog up the site with lies about xbox 360 release dates halo maps halo3 and other lies. did you know that when i went to video ezy today in there catalog they said "that the halo 2 mutltiplayer map pack is out now" so do you guys got it. it also stated that PS3 is three times more powerful than the Xbox 360 so is that true. dont forget on more weekend and your going down Shinny.

We recently heard how a local halo team had waxed our home team after they had booked in for a days halo 2 ing. We gave the better of the 2 teams a couple of games and they beat us on the last game 49 - 50.
Word got around how we had been 'waxed',Of course our excuse was we had to answer phones and repair consoles whilst we played, so we hooked up a more official clan clash.
And I think we held our own pretty well.
What would you say boys?
Anyway if there are any teams that would like to participate in a planned clash. Let us know and we'll see what we can hookup.

im also looking for a job so i can get an xbox or xbox2 modded of course. i have a bit of expirience with computers and have played squisys xbox a fair bit. and ive got a fair bit of buissness sense and i can spell unlike squisy "scince" its spelt "since" so if yous are looking for an after school and weekend worker so yous can go to the pub or something me and squisy are best mates and work well together if yous want a few more workers reply to this or somecrap_7@hotmail.com with the requirements and some stuff about the job we can also pass out info at school and promote gametronix.
