Now I know you guys are young and have plenty of time on your hands but i don't think that will really get you anywhere.
If you see any information you believe is defamation please just email info@gametronix.net and gametronix will look into it and take appropriate action.
Just remember if you act like little kids you will probably get treated in the same fashion.

I suspected this might happen. Shindog thanks for your words.
We haven't defamed Gametronix in any way and I don't know how you come to that belief. What we did was ask you (Elboxo) to stop blatantly advertising on our website. We don't mind links to gaming-related sites as long as it is tasteful and not spam. Around about the second or third post you made to our site was, quite frankly, indecipherable. None of us knew what the hell you were talking about so we advised you to make your posts more clear and to the point. In response to this you start to abuse the moderators using a great deal of profanity. We didn't create a website so that we could be abused by those with immature mindsets such as yourself, and any posts you make abusing moderators will be deleted. I really don't think this is too much for you to understand.
I'd like to apologise to gametronix for any bad vibes this stuff is creating.

I quote solvent : " Yeah we heard about that. It was kind of a moral decision not to go, those guys are a bunch of game pirates (which I would associate with thieves), and what's more for their last tournament they demanded a large registration fee about a week before their comp. That seemed weird to me so I boycotted it. I basically thought something dodgy was going on. Well besides the game piracy, it seems nothing else really dodgy is going on (ie paying tournament fees a week in advance and having them disappear...)"
The directors of Gametronix are concerned about your statement 'those guys are a bunch of game pirates' and what this is based on.
Gametronix Pty Ltd is a registered Australian Company that deals with over 30 businesses Across Australia and New Zealand. We employ 2 Engineers and 2-4 Technicians depending on prjects and workload and other casual supprt staff.
We are not game pirates. We do not sell pirated games and if any staff are caught dealing in pirated games instant dismisal is awarded.
We do upgrade/modify xboxes in many different ways and have sought legal counsel. In many instances modding technology is used to effect complex repairs such as hdd replacements and bios reflashing and is completely legitimate.
If you can copy/rip music to an xbox as microsoft allow, what diference is their in copying/ripping/backing up pictures, movies, games, data, roms etc? The onus is on the user to do the right thing.
Our Gaming Lounge holds over 150 original (of course) game titles and 20 copies (original of course) of halo 2 for LAN use.
We are currently also providing $1000 dollars worth of sponsorship to MotherLAN.

Well it's not the first time I've been made to eat my words and it may not be the last. I didn't recall saying such strong words on the subject back then. I will be happy to remove the offending material if you wish.
I guess the forums for discussion of emulation threw me a bit, as well as my personal experience with a great many modders. However since you've assured me there is no piracy going on here I'm more than willing to take that on board. I will certainly be more careful with my comments in the future.
I did remark somewhere that we had been in touch with someone who attended your Halo Challenge 04 tournament, and reported it to be a well-run affair.
