xbox hdd needs locking

i have unlocked my xbox hdd and then the xbox got restarted and now it wont come back on i just get an error code is it possible to lock the hdd back up so it will work again

soft modded drawbacks

The main reason we don't advocate the soft is for reasons like this. You could lock your hdd inside another modded box, but what use is that? You motherboard needs to be modded to enable a fresh hdd to be installed, or to enable an unlocked hdd to boot.
