Using gtxDash v3.0 what is the best way to get mp3s onto hard drive? Also can you use these as Soundtracks or do you have to rip CDs using the Music Manager to a Soundtrack to use them in games? Where does it store the tracks when you rip em off Music Manager?

use the dvd/cd rip tool found in the file managers section!

if you have a live network that is online you can enable the network option and it will rip with cddb support (pre name the tracks for you!)
the music manager rips to wma inside
e:\tdata\fffe0000\music\
currently mp3's are not supported in game

v1.03 actually. So would it be wise to make a data CD with lots of wma files and dump em into that folder to get lots of tracks into the Soundtrack without having to go through the lengthy Music Manager ripping?

i would just rip one track to create a soundtrack folder, then put your wma's in there, although i cant confirm whether they will need to be named in a particluar fashion, you will have to give it a whirl and let us know!
