Has anyone ever gotton this message?? "Your system requires service call customer support"

and how did people fix it aprt from calling sutomer support obviously...

error screen [ 10299 ]
it can occur for multiple reasons, if you have filled your e drive at any point or there has been a hdd writing error.

there was a system with a bug that was distroed in sa between the 10th and 13th of july which would need updating

Hey Shindog, I also have received the error message "Your xbox requires service etc" and unfortunately no "jack all" about computers etc. I had my machine modded in Nov 04 and have had no trouble until now. I have emailed Xroads here in NZ but have not had a reply and the phone number listed doesnt exist. Do you know if there is anyone else I can contact in NZ for a repair? Thanks.

Gidday Shindog, In the workplace at the moment so dont have the error number available...BUT!!...Xroads called and mentioned you contacted them so I'll drop in to see them today. Awesome stuff mate - appreciate your help on this. Thanks heaps mate!
