MAMEX rom troubles [ 10350 ] [ Back to Forum ]
g'day

have previously successfully uploaded some roms for the mame emulator, but went to upload a whole heaps this afternoon and can't seem to get the box to recognise them. i deleted all of the roms that were already in the folder (i.e. those installed by gametronix) at the same time i uploaded the new roms.

anyone able to help me out?

rescan [ 10351 ]
the new mameox requires you to rescan your roms, im guessing due to the length of time it can take to generate game lists thousands of games long. the start button brings up the menu to rescan

yeah, i had already tried to rescan and it still wasnt working.

but eventually got it working, i think it was just because i was renaming the files once they were already on the box through the ftp client. all good now, except half the things were f*ckin corrupted..

dont spose anyone knows anywhere good (other than irc..)?
