file name too long

sometimes when i try and save games on my hard drive it comes up witjh 'file name too long' or something like that and it won't save it, i was wondering if anyone could help

dvd rip tool
[ 10394 ]
launch the dvd cd rip tool with 2 triggers and Y
launch the dvd cd rip tool with 2 triggers and Y
wait for the drive to detect that it has a game (wait till the green light stops flashing)
this will fix the long filename problem
