FTP server problems. [ 10439 ] [ Back to Forum ]
shindog, I recently got my xbox chipped by xroads, I have been having trouble connecting to my xbox, it will connect for a mini second, but then says "connection failed could not read server", or something similar to that. i was just reading your reply to a similar problem and I have all the same I.P, subnet etc set as Nathan did in the other forum. I followed your instructions up to the physical address, which in my case is 00-53-45-00-00-00. If you could help me out, i would really appreciate it. also I was told to upload a game from the Xbox to the computer you need to delete everything on your harddrive.. is this correct or can you have a few games on there? thanks MattC

zone alarm [ 10440 ]
hey, i turned my zone alarm to ignore port 21, but i have just realised that whenever i unplug my internet cord it says connection failed straight away, but when it is plugged in it says connected for a little while, is it possible that the port number is wrong? is there any other explaination as to why that would come up? i have tried everything and nothing is working. thanks mattC
