EDIT: This blog was rather short as we received some very bad news ... i was feeling rather sad ... thats an understatement..... laopo's mama was diagnosed with cervical cancer earlier this year ... the shots above were post her treatment in April ... she had recovered quite well and things were looking promising! After experiencing a lot of pain in her lower chest area recently she came into BJ for some tests ... so far it looking like the cancer may have spread into another part of her body and returned ... we are awaiting the results of tests and scans.

That's laopo's mum and step father. An interesting thing is how they walk in formation. The 'father' or alpha male will always walk head of the 'pack', you just have to watch a lot of chinese people's actions. The mother and other siblings will fall behind. They won't touch in public ... or at least it will be ultra rare. If they are touching and publically showing affection people will automatically think that she is his mistress.
